Wanted to drop a quick note and tell you what a WONDERFUL dog we have in our Kona. He is 8 months now and a wonderful additon to our family. From the start, he was always fast to learn obdience classes, and was making retrieves on pheasants and chuckar's at 4-5 months. We look forward to many adventures at home and in the field with our Kona. Thanks again for your kindness and generosity and introducing us to our Kona and the British lab! -Jason & Diana Valiga
I thought I would take a minute to update you on Millie, all grown up at 9 mo. old and all we keep saying about her is WOW! If anyone is looking for the best dog you have ever had, you are on the right website! As a pet, unbelievable. Sweet, snuggly and has so much character she keeps us laughing. She goes everywhere with us, lays under tables in restaurants, loves the farmers market, parks, baseball games, wherever she goes she is so happy to be with us and NO ONE believes she is still a puppy with how obedient she is! She naturally wants to please us! She is a LAB, thinks the lake cabin up north is heaven and there really isn't a reason to ever leave. In the last couple of months her hunting instincts have come alive which is incredible since we don't hunt and have not trained her. Her "need" to fetch something for a while once a day is so instinctive to her. Her whole personality changes, she is so intent and focused on doing her job it is so enjoyable to watch. Then when we are done she is back to our little sweet pea. Shannon Van Skike
Hi Lori and Tom, We wanted to send you some updated photos of our yellow lab puppy named "Pip" from Sam/Ben litter 2010. Pip loves to learn new things and especially loves going to puppy class. He graduates this Saturday and then will move on to beginning obedience. They have even introduced him to some agility equipment. His favorite is running through the tunnel and playing on the wobble board. He has already learned to go up and down our stairs at home. We socialize him quite frequently. He enjoys going for rides in the van and amazingly does not make a peep the whole trip, even when we talk to him he stays very quiet in his crate. At home he can turn on the energy, loves to run in the yard and loves going for long walks so that he can meet all kinds of people and animals along the way. He retrieves anything you throw (or whatever he picks up on his own) and will drop it at your feet in exchange for a treat. It is fun to watch him explore his new world. Pip has made many new friends and loves giving and getting kisses. Thanks so much for a wonderful addition to our family:) P.S. Please feel free to use this letter, a photo and give our name and number as a reference. Gary & Candie
